I heard this, and I swore that the frontman for Presidents of the United States of America must have started his own band. You know, after all these years of being quiet, eating Peaches, he started a solo project. But I was wrong. There’s no relation, not even like a second cousin or a half-bother.
These Brooklyn, NY rockers just released their 4th-ish album called “Grrr…” last month, and I’m really diggin this track “Busted Heart”. Like I said, reminds me of old Presdients…maybe with a hint of depression. I really like the nice balance of backup female vocals here, makes it sound really good….

I said 4th-ish album above, because they actually did something pretty cool a couple years ago. In 2006, they put out 12 EPs in a year, one for each month, each with 4 new songs on it. And they titled each EP the name of the month. The first EP being “January”, the second one “February”, and so on… Pretty cool. Lotta music. I got some work cut out for my ears.
