My buddy ‘Tay Jones sent me this crazy, ESPN-exclusive video from inside the strip club where Pacman Jones (real name, not a videogame character) “made it rain“. Shortly after, three people were shot.
I should probably put this quote from the article before the video:
Jones told police he arrived at the club with “close to $100,000.” He took $40,000 out of his Louis Vuitton bag and exchanged it for several stacks of $1 bills, which he put in a black trash bag, according to his statement. So much money was thrown onto the main stage that dancers, after their sets, started filling buckets with the loose bills covering the stage.
$40,000. In a Garbage Bag. Pacman then went on to say, in perfect English: “Don’t start getting the money until I tell y’all to get off the stage… Just keep f—ing dancing! Don’t bend down and try to get your money.”"
Oh yeah, and Nelly and Jermaine Dupree were there too. What a night…
Unfortunately, it’s not all funny. Three people got shot shortly afterwards, in a struggle to pick up the thousands and thousands of dollars dropped after Pacman ate all his pellets and the ghosts chasing him turned into strawberries worth 5000 points.
