What caused Saturn’s downfall?
Was it the fact that they were the bitch-ass middle child of the American car world? Or the fact that they only sold like one model of cars? (you know the one I’m talking about.) Or…was it Jim Gaffigan?
After watching these outtakes where he was the spokesman, my guess is for the latter. Sure this commercial is old, and at the time they made it, Saturn was probably on top of the world–maybe even on top of Uranus. But I think the trickle-down effect slowly killed the company….and made me love this comedian even more.
I’m particularly fond of how he referrs to absolutely everything and everyone as members of his family. Including the pelican. This might be long, but it’s worth a watch….
