You’ve probably seen a video or two previously from Improv Everywhere — a growing troupe of improv comedians and actors that go out into the crowded world and stage random acts of…involvement. The goal in pretty much any of these videos is to get the largest number of strangers to participate in whatever they’re doing…without the strangers knowing they’re participating in anything.
It’s like hidden camera shows, without the punchline. I’ve seen a bunch of these, some more interesting than others. Some suck, some are incredibly interesting. For some reason, I was really intrigued by this one.
Here’s the premise: “Rob” goes into a basketball stadium and gets lost. So I ask you…WHERE’S ROB?
I kinda want to see a film adaptation of this starring Richard Dreyfuss and Bill Murray, where Rob gets lost in the quaint mountain town of Lake Winnipesaukee while trying to find his psychologist. It should be called What About Rob?
